Why is the drinking age in America 21? How has this helped curb alcohol abuse among minors in America since it's been enacted and what other steps can be taken to stop young people drinking?
Tentative Thesis: The setting of the US drinking age to 21 was not an effective measure towards fighting alcohol abuse amongst minors and has become obsolete with the emergence of new drinking practices and a generally changing America from 1984 when the National Minimum Drinking Act was first enacted.
