What if introverts "ruled the world"? Or in other words, what if introversion was the more preferable, and therefore dominant, personality type? Would the world be a better place?
Tentative Thesis:
If introversion were the desired and therefore dominant personality type, American society would be more progressive: it would be shaped by people who are more empathetic, reflective, and creative. Currently, extroverts are the leaders in society and their impulsivity is causing American society to stagnate.

In order to maximize the potential of its entire people, American society needs to balance the collaborative power of the extrovert with the solitude-seeking (?), reflective reasoning of the introvert.
